How many of my readers use coupons when they shop? Come on, raise your hands high! Anyone?

I haven’t used coupons for a long time, with the exception of my Glutino coupons. I cannot believe they give us FREE product coupons. How cool is that?!?!? Their products are AMAZING!! Glutino Foods and Udi’s are my favorite gluten-free companies! Texture, taste, variety…all fabulous!!

Today, I’m giving you an opportunity to win 10 (THAT’S RIGHT 10 Glutino Foods FREE PRODUCT coupons) coupons for any Glutino product. These are not just $1 off coupons either, these are FREE PRODUCT coupons. This means that you pay NOTHING! Cool, right!?! Very cool…

For those of you who have been gluten-free for any length of time, you know how expensive eating a specialty diet can be. While Glutino Foods products are among the most inexpensive, they can still be kinda pricy. These coupons can really come in handy when you are stretching your dime.

Food Should Taste Good

YES.IT.SHOULD. (food should taste good)

I could just post ^^that^^ as is and it would prove my case. But I won’t. I’m going to share something with you today that will knock your socks off!

When I got the e-mail asking if I would like to review their product, I was like sure, I’d love to try your healthy, non-GMO chips and pita puffs. They are certified gluten-free & non-GMO, certified vegan & kosher, and cholesterol free as well. They’re practically health food. But I have to say, I was a little skeptical, I mean they are practically HEALTH FOOD!

I had no reason to be skeptical my peeps! These chips are amazing! Food Should Taste Good sent me lots of yummy stuff. They were unable to end the pita puffs, though…which was a bummer, but they were able to send all this…

Blue Corn tortilla chips

Jalapeño tortilla chips

Multigrain tortilla chips

Sweet Potato tortilla chips

The only one I didn’t really care for was the Jalapeño. But it has nothing to do with the product itself, I just don’t do spicy stuff. My husband and daughter thought they were great! I LOVED all the other flavors! I thought about making a recipe for a dip or sauce or something for these, but they are so good, you don’t need one. I do like to take cream cheese just in a bowl topped with salsa and dip tortilla chips in it. The blue corn chips were great dipped in this!  🙂

And I loved that they are made of natural ingredients that are non-GMO and gluten-free! The fact that they taste good is fabulous, because who cares if they are healthy if they don’t taste good! Am I right??

I also love that Food Should Taste Good has a Food Should Do Good Campaign this year in which they’re providing support in the fight against breast cancer by donating $100,000 to Play for P.I.N.K.

I am giving Food Should Taste Good products ♥♥♥♥♥ (5 out of 5 hearts)

blog branding, celiac disease, freedible, gluten-free blogger

I am part of a network of bloggers, companies and others trying to bring awareness about food allergies to the masses.  It’s something that can no longer be ignored.  With more and more people being diagnosed with one or more food allergies, it’s becoming more and more important to be aware of what we are putting on our tables!  Freedible is an awesome site where bloggers, companies and others can go to meet up with others who are eating, living, blogging about the same things they are!

As the head cook of a Christian camp, I have to be very aware of what I put on my tables here.  It seems more common now than ever to have at least one and usually more than one person with an allergy to something I have on the menu.  In fact, this last week of camp, I had teens with these allergies…. peanut, cashew, tomato (3), banana and pineapple.  It seems like I’m forgetting one.  But these are the major ones, anyway.  So when cooking spaghetti, I had to come up with options for the 3 teens who could not have tomatoes.  When I made fruit skewers, I had to cut all the other fruit before the bananas and pineapple and make the skewers for those with allergies to those fruits first and then cut the bananas and pineapples and make the other skewers.  It must all be carefully planned out and executed so no one gets sick!

The next camp we have coming in, I know we have a couple girls who are gluten intolerant like I am.  In fact, the one has Celiac Disease.  I’m not sure about other allergies, I will have to talk to the camp nurse.

At first I thought it was kind of a pain to have to deal with, to be honest.  Because I cook on such a large scale and then have to prepare something else for a small group.  But since I have learned so much about food allergies and how they affect the body and EVERY aspect of your life, I have become very passionate about helping others and spreading the word about food allergies. Especially gluten intolerance, since that is what I deal with personally.

It’s pretty amazing, just to be able to find REAL people who are going through the same kinds of things I am.  To be able to related with people who know how you feel.  To talk to people who know what you’re going through.  I like that.

So head over to Freedible and join!  It’s free and it’s great!  You’ll find recipes and discussions about all kinds of different things from how to deal with different food allergies to where to find certain foods in your grocery store!  🙂

Best wishes for a fabulous July!!
