I’ve been wanting to try this Big Mac Salad for a while now. I hadn’t yet til last night because…well frankly, I’m lazy. You have to make the ‘special sauce’, cook the burger, cut the burger, get all the toppings ready….it’s a little bit of work. But let me just say, this Big Mac Salad IS WORTH IT!!! Now, I haven’t had a Big Mac in a while (gluten intolerant, remember?!?), but from what I do remember of these sandwiches, this is pretty close. And even if it’s not, it’s so good, I DON’T CARE!!
Just look at that! So very yummy!!
You want this Big Mac Salad Recipe, don’t you? I knew you would! Here’s where I got my inspiration from…OurAbundantBlessings.

Get This:

For salad:

Do This:
For sauce:
- Combine all sauce ingredients; allow to sit in refrigerator for a few hours for the flavors to mingle.

Made this for my husband and I for lunch and we both loved it and both had the leftovers tonight! It really was easy because I used frozen meatballs which I microwaved and halved. It really does taste like a Big Mac! Think the dressing makes it! I just threw grated cheese over top. Thanks!

Awesome! I love the idea of using meatballs! I use the premade frozen all-beef patties. So glad you likes this! It’s a favorite of mine! xo

Hi, Elaine. I served this cold. I don’t like hot meat on cold lettuce… you could do it either way, and I’m sure it would be good. Unless you’re like me and don’t do hot meat on cold lettuce… Thanks for stopping by! xo

I am happy to see I’m not the only one who doesn’t like to mix hot meat with cold vegetables, lol. My family calls me weird 😉
My first time to you sight and I read your ‘about me’ part and I just want to say I’m sorry. I can’t imagine and it breaks my heart to read you’ve lost two precious children. I’m so sorry for your loss.

You are definitely not alone. I think there are lots of us out there who would rather not have hot meat on their salad, Karrie.
Thank you for your kind words. Losing two children has definitely been a struggle, but God has given us strength and grace. And we are assured that we can see him again in heaven one day! 😄 Blessings…xo

How many servings is this? Would this be one meal for a person? I eat low carb, and my daily lunch is a big salad, but kind of getting bored of fish or chicken on my salad every day. I wonder how it would be to just toss the burger, onion and some shredded cheese in the sauce then top the salad base with that? I use Dole Chopped Salad every day, I’m a huge fan of them over their regular bagged salad and hope they never stop selling them. They’re also awesome for making frittatas, just warm half a bag in a skillet over medium low heat then pour egg batter over it, cover and cook until firm melting shredded cheese on top as soon as the eggs are almost firm. I wish other brands would start doing chopped as well.

Your recipes is great. Thank you. Try adding a teaspoon of paprika and a teaspoon of vinegar to the dressing. It kicks it up a little bit.
